The Wheel ©

I recently rode through the forest, and when I saw some trunks lying there, I got a bright idea. Eureka!
I put the bike on it's stand, to put the idea straight into a tangible invention.

A little further on was a carelessly discarded empty soda can, and that came in handy. With the scissors from my Swiss Army knife I cut a series of shark teeth from the can, which I mounted on the rear tire of the bike with a few rusty nails laying beside an anthill.

This was actually the first invention, the circular saw. - I think I'll have a look later to make a handy tool of it.
After two hours of tough pedaling I managed to saw through a quarter of the trunk. And six hours later I had sawed the rest: now I had a beauty of a disk. How it came about, I do not know, but I suddenly thought of Edison: "Invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.".

Now it was time for the holes pestle: lay the disk on three stones, impose a boulder in the middle on top of it, and then drop down a heavy trunk straight on the boulder. After an hour of beeching I had a nice hole in the middle. Hei-hei, that was not easy! Through the hole fitted a branch, which I had stripped of knots patiently with the Swiss Army Knife. That was quite a day!

But my invention was ready.
I call it: The Wheel ©.
This invention will change the world!
Only a pity that I had to walk home because the rear tire of my bike was broken by making a circular saw of it.

Tomorrow I'll have a look at the hardware store to buy a broomstick and a ball bearing.
Then The Wiel © can rotate even more beautiful!
